10 on 10: March 2018

This week has been a whirlwind.  Crazy weather, the anticipation of vacation and my BABY turning THREE! I’m just hoping that when I return from vacation the weather will have finally decided that it’s spring and that my baby will magically be a baby again. I can hope, right?! At this point, I’m not sure which of those scenarios is more unlikely.

It’s the 10th so time for your monthly dose of 10 on 10; bringing you week 9 of Huppy Hours.

The day began rainy. I had grand plans for getting errands done, but when I walked outside and saw this rain, we went right back in to jump on the couch instead.

Once the rain let up a bit, we did sneak out to get a few things crossed off the list. I needed to swing through Wal-Mart to grab some new undergarments and tiny man had strong opinions on the matter. “Boobies are yucky! Girlfriends are yucky!”  We’ll tuck that nugget away for when he’s a teenager…

Last weekend we finally had a chance to assemble the kids Christmas gift; the giant trampoline. It’s one of those things I swore I’d never have at my house, but here we are. It’s already brought so much joy and I think we’ll spend our entire summer on it.

What would a Monday be without some train table time? I think just about all of my Huppy Hour days have included an image of this boy and his trains.

There’s always an hour or two in the afternoon nowadays where I’m struggling. I’m exhausted from hanging out with a toddler all day, He’s decided not to nap anymore, but mama is needing a little mental break. We’ve had to get creative for survival during these times. This day it was toilet paper tower smashes.

By bus stop pick up time, the sun was shining so we were able to take the slow walk home and went straight back to the trampoline.

  1. Oh my gosh … I love the one of your little man in the bra section, that is hilarious. I’ve always been a nay sayer for trampolines, but at the same time I would love one for the pure joy it brings the kids and the photo ops, too bad we live on a strata property and they have ridiculous rules you have to go through to even have one in our backyard haha. Love your hour by hour. Beautiful.

  3. When my son was about that age I took him into the bra section and he could’t stop touching them admiringly and caressing the ones shaped like breasts. Then he put one on and I had to drag him out. It was an adventure to say the least! lol! Great photos of your day!
