I’ve joined up with a lovely group of photographers to bring you a monthly 10 on 10 blog circle. These are other artists who take a more lifestyle and documentary approach to photography. Trying to capture those authentic moments. Bringing you 10 images on the 10th day of every month.
One of my creative goals for 2018 was to do a monthly hour-by-hour project. This means, one day a month, I will take one photo every hour at approximately the same time each hour. This has quickly become my favorite project to push me out of a creative rut. It forces me to stop over thinking and just take the picture. It helps me be more intentional. And above all, it pushes me to capture tiny moments from our everyday that I might have otherwise overlooked.
I know it’s early in the year, but this project inspires me so much that I’m altering my goal already. I really want to make this a weekly thing instead.
Mondays are hard. Getting back into the swing of the everyday. It’s the perfect recipe for a creative rut and thus, I’m making it my goal.
A weekly hour-by-hour. Every Monday. Still working on a catchy name for this project. If you have any suggestions, throw them at me!!
Here are 10 images from this Monday.
Next up in the circle is Jessica, from Jessica Dherari Photography & Design. Go check out her 10 images and follow the circle back around!
So cool! What a neat concept, mama! Beautiful work.
